Flock health package
A health plan can be a great way to make sure that none of the crucial animal health treatments get missed.
The health plan can be part of an assurance scheme such as Red Tractor or the government’s Health and Welfare Pathway, but it can also just be a unique plan designed around your farming system.
There is no minimum number of animals needed for a health plan, it can include an individual or the entire flock, the key is that it is unique to your farm.
What is included?
For a monthly fee, sign up to our great value flock health package, which includes the following benefits:
- Two advisory, on-hour visits with a vet per year.
- Flock health plan tailored to your business (Red Tractor compliant).
- Two faecal egg counts.
- Two postmortems.
- No additional out of hours charge.
- 20% off pre-booked routine visit fees.

Post-mortem examinations
If you’ve had stock die for unexplained reasons, a postmortem examination can help you find useful answers and solutions.
Postmortem exams can be completed either by our farm vets or by a local third party, with the results sent to the primary vet.
To gain as much information as possible, it is important that the procedure is done as soon after death as possible.
