Equine Physiotherapy 

We believe in a collaborative approach to horse health and work closely with other complimentary therapists. The purpose of physiotherapy is to restore and maintain mobility, function, independence and performance. A wide range of qualifications in physiotherapy are available, and ACPAT is seen as the gold standard. (This is also the preference of insurance companies). ACPAT physiotherapists are members of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy. ACPAT members are fully qualified HUMAN Chartered Physiotherapists (MCSP's) who have then undergone further training in physiotherapy and rehabilitation for animals.   This adds up to many years of full time specialised training and is the reason that our recommendation would be to work with an ACPAT physiotherapist.
